-
Peter Haimerl's design uses architecture as a catalyst for the revitalization of the city and a new beginning for all residents of Lichtenfels, as well as for a wider audience. Inspiration was drawn from Lichtenfels' past and future, rooted in the continuous connection between industries and innovations of every era – from basket weaving to 3D printing. The willows form a meeting place and a hub for exchange, always open to everyone.
-
The Archive of the Future is a place where knowledge flows into the city, questions are raised, answers are developed, and visions are discussed. It fosters exchange on future-oriented topics, builds and strengthens networks, and allows for the practical and experienced implementation of ideas. Interest in technology and innovation will form the basis for changes that make Lichtenfels vibrant and future-proof. The Archive of the Future draws on global sources to gather ideas for local issues that can also generate visions for others.
-
This space will host events and exhibitions showcasing ideas, technological developments, and personalities that can positively influence our future. People from industry, culture, art, academia, and politics, as well as residents of Lichtenfels, experts, and all interested individuals are invited to share their knowledge and learn more. The range of formats is extensive – panel discussions, technology presentations, immersive projections, hands-on workshops, demonstrations, interactive installations, tastings, discussions, insights into production and development, readings, guided tours, and print and digital publications.
