Stefan Mehl

I was born in Hochstadt am Main in 1959 and grew up in nearby Trieb. After graduating from the Meranier-Gymnasium in Lichtenfels, I moved to Erlangen, "a long way away," to study computer science. A few years later, working in software development, I realized that working with people was much more fulfilling for me, and I became a management consultant throughout Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

Through my children, I also returned to Upper Franconia professionally and expanded my banking knowledge through work in the savings bank sector. For the past few years, my main occupation has been managing the affairs of Günter and Robert Hofmann's families, and since 2026 I have been enjoying a well-deserved retirement, though I remain active on the advisory board.
