Students are invited to create art in a workshop. The resulting artworks will then be displayed in an exhibition at the Archive of the Future.
Project 1: Painting with Acrylics
Participants will paint with acrylic paints on paper. The paintings will then be scanned in our archive and displayed digitally.
Project 2: Printing on Plexiglas Sheets with Acrylic Paint. Using a plexiglass sheet, acrylic paint, tools, and paper, prints will be created. These prints will also be scanned and presented digitally.
Project 3: Fine Art with Fimo Soft. Students will model sculptures and objects by hand. The modeled objects will be scanned and 3D printed on the same day at the Machbar (Creative Workshop) on the market square. Since 3D printing takes time depending on the size of the objects, it is possible that not all objects will be printed on the project day.
Project 4: Art with the 3D Printing Pen. Students will create objects in various colors and shapes using the 3D printing pen.
About the Exhibition: The creative works from Projects 1 & 2 will be shown to the public in the digital exhibition in the Archive of the Future and published on the website under Exhibitions.
The 3D-printed artworks from Projects 3 & 4 will be exhibited in their original form at the archive.
Procedure: All four projects will be offered simultaneously. The workshop lasts 3–3.5 hours. Students of all grade levels are welcome to participate. All original artworks will be returned to the artists. All materials will be provided. Smocks are not available. The workshop is free of charge.
To plan the entire project effectively, especially regarding our collaboration with Machbar, we require a specific date. Please send your preferred date to info@archivderzukunft-lichtenfels.de.
