The non-profit art association FAC (Freie Ausstellung Coburg) has started a new project: In collaboration with the Lichtenfels “Archiv der Zukunft, Lichtenfels”, creative people have the opportunity to present their works in golden cans under the motto “Art in a Can”. A converted bottle vending machine was provided by the Archive of the Future and is equipped with 70 cans. Each can contains the creative work of an artist and a booklet that describes the work and the artist in detail. The machine is now in the permanent exhibition and during opening hours any interested art lover can get their dose of art from the machine for €8.
What is the fac?
The non-profit art association "Freie Ausstellung Coburg" integrates itself into various events and realizes creative and cultural projects there. The focus is on organizing exhibitions in combination with a creative program to promote personal development.
We want to give access to art and creativity, especially to those people who have had little contact with the topic so far.
This is supported by motivating our exhibitors to speak transparently about their work. This also makes us a platform for works by creative artists, and anyone can apply for the next exhibition via our website.
Our "EinFACh Malen" format brings people together and invites them to be creative in a playful way. Our visitors are encouraged to try out new painting and drawing techniques.
