After a two-year pandemic-related break, there’s life after the lockdown - events can finally be held in person again!
Taking full advantage, members of the ILE Kahlgrund-Spessart delegation headed to the Archive of the Future showroom in Lichtenfels on July 4th, 2022.
The Archive of the Future team provided delegates with an overview of the new building project at Marktplatz 2 in Lichtenfels. Guests were greeted by building contractor Stefan Mehl.
The presentation focused mainly on the concept and development process behind the Archive of the Future, as well as the construction challenges and current building site happenings.
Mehl also took visitors on a journey into the past, showing off some of the archaeological finds from recent excavations that provide exciting insights into the Middle Ages in Lichtenfels. Many questions were answered during the next part of the discussion.
Mehl then led a tour of the site, assuring the visiting guests of a follow-up event after the opening.
