Books about the future. During the Advent season in winter 2019, we created a reading adventure space inside the showroom of the Archive of the Future Lichtenfels for story lovers young and old. Our Future Lounge offered cosy seating and a diverse array of meditations and musings on the topics of tomorrow. Adults and children were invited to warm up, browse through the books on display, and engage in conversation.
Our reading selection stimulated exchange about visions for the future of Lichtenfels and the region. We engaged people’s curiosity about technology and nature, the economy and urban planning, and we inspired people to get involved, show personal initiative, and to take a passionate stance on topics that touch the Archive of the Future.
