With "Lichtenfels Pearl Diving" (Lichtenfelser Perlentauchen), the Archiv der Zukunft (Archive of the Future) invites you to a unique conversation series. Together, we dive into the stories of people from Lichtenfels and the surrounding region who dared to take a risk, build something up, develop an idea further, or reimagine things entirely.
We are interested in more than just figures, strategies, and commercial success. Often, what lies beneath the surface is far more compelling: Where did that brilliant idea come from? When did a vision become reality? What detours, doubts, and unexpected twists arose along the way? What drives someone to stick with a pursuit for years? And how does that journey shape their own life?
In intimate, three-way conversations held before an audience, we meet entrepreneurs, creative minds, unconventional thinkers, and individuals with unique life paths. Through open, approachable dialogue—often seasoned with a good dose of humor—we discuss courage and passion, decisions and setbacks, self-fulfillment and responsibility, as well as those moments when a seemingly small idea suddenly evolves into something truly significant.
The name says it all: with "Lichtenfels Pearl Diving," we aim to look beneath the surface. We are searching for the region’s special stories, ideas, and personalities—those "pearls" worth discovering and sharing.
In doing so, the Archiv der Zukunft becomes a meeting point: a place where business meets life, past meets future, and experience meets new ideas. The audience is invited to listen, marvel, laugh, and reflect—and perhaps go home with a thought that might one day spark a brilliant idea of its own.
