Second Nature by Moby Digg

In times of ever accelerating technological change, man and machine are merging more and more. Recent technologies, considered radical innovations just a few years ago, are now obsolete. We are all part of this rapid development, and need to understand and experience it first hand. An interactive installation by MOBY DIGG.

A video installation on the vacant site invited visitors to play with technology for two consecutive evenings. Inspired by the creative ideas of architect Peter Haimerl, designers at studio MOBY DIGG put together an interactive animated sequence with which visitors could engage and communicate. Three larger-than-life digital avatars reacted to the full range of participants’ body movements from gentle grace to explosive rhythmic frenzy.
The installation was on display 07 and 08 December 2018 on the forthcoming site of the Archive of the Future and was open to young and old from 5:00 to 10:00 pm each day.
