Through our new event series, "Hidden Champions" at the Archiv der Zukunft (Archive of the Future), we want to give these very companies a stage.
One month. One company. Many possibilities.
Our region boasts an impressive diversity of companies, craft workshops, specialists, and innovators. Some are renowned in their industries far beyond the region—while their names are barely recognized just a few kilometers from their headquarters. We want to change that. "Hidden Champions" aims to spark curiosity about what is being created here: unique skills and surprising products; traditional companies that constantly reinvent themselves; young firms with unconventional ideas; and, above all, the people who drive change with courage, experience, and enthusiasm.
The future needs visibility
During their month-long residency, companies can use the Archiv der Zukunft space in a variety of ways: for lectures and panel discussions, workshops and interactive activities, client events, encounters with young people, or events focused on their own visions of the future. We intentionally place few limits on creativity. There is, however, one condition: "Hidden Champions" is not a sales event. The focus is on knowledge, exchange, inspiration, and the question of how we can shape our future together.
We provide the stage. The companies bring their future with them.
We provide the exhibition space at the Archiv der Zukunft to participating companies free of charge for one month. The outcome can take any form: an exhibition, an experiment, a workshop, a lecture, a conversation, a look behind the scenes—or perhaps even an idea that emerges only through interaction with others. After all, "Hidden Champions" is not simply about showcasing what companies manufacture; we want to discover what drives them. And in doing so, we might just find that a significant part of the future is already taking shape right in our midst.
